Houses of the North

“Under the Mother Stars I tell thee; blood shall once more color the Novíla red, redder than red, as red as death Under the Holy Mother I sayeth unto thee; the rise of a new land can only be brought forth with the sword, and the pain of lesser men.” – The “Red River Prophecy”, words of Nels himself

Houses in the North are generally classified as great, major, minor and petty (not including the marshlands). Most great houses stem from some royal dynasty, including the Nylhus, the Brendenburgh, Claudius, Korlen,Glover and Stokeworth to name a few.

The Marshlands/Greater Zerolia

Note: All Lords in the Marshlands have as direct liege House Pontreas, and must follow the Marshlands Law. Furthermore, some have the distinction of having land within the eternal city itself (marked with an asterisk). These families as well as those with control of a city with a city charter, are called houses while those without are called ‘Familias’.
