Houses of the Red Plains

“The red men saw no borders”
- From the 3rd prophecy, Book of Nels

The Empire of Moqol started as a loose federation of feudal states, but soon became somewhat centralized, and governed from the Red Plains capital city, Moq. Much of Moqol is divided ethnically and culturally, but the ancient dynasties of the Brendenburgh (Bb), Anthoriel (A) and Olven (O) are common threads among noble bloodlines. The hierarchy in Moqol is simpler, there are only Great Houses (which rule one of the 6 great provinces) and minor houses, which do not. The title for a great lord is either King or Archduke, with the regional variations given here .

Red Plains/Moq Anthorieli

Note: All houses here have Anthoriel as direct liege – as the entire province is claimed as demesne.

None, all lords under the Ceratis are Baron-level or lower.

Svalos

The Svalek clans or houses are massive, having originated more or less with the founding of the nation. They each correspond to the ruling family of the founding tribes, and majority of nobility gentry and military elite belong to one. Thus, most houses have dozens of cadet branches (Vettin, Uzeri, Pazi, etc.). Note that the 6th tribe of Svalos is the Naronese, ruled by the Czerati.
